Online Business (Discussed via Email):
·
There is
a new rule this year that states that all official stands be adjustable. This
rule would force all TDs to be sure their facilities buy new ref stands. If we
keep this rule in we won't have any legal stands in the state and would have to
cancel all of our tournaments.
·
Judy
motions to allow non-adjustable referee stands at all Yankee and NERVA
sanctioned tournaments as long as referee stands follow all standards as 2008
season.
·
Discussion
and questions follow
·
Sander
asks if we should add a warning that this change may not be allowed in the future?
o
Per
Judy, it’s an unfair expectation to think that school and TD budgets will be
able to meet the new USAV requirement

Need to
discuss further before a vote.
