About Yankee

Yankee Volleyball is the Adult branch of New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA) which is one of the 40 regions of USA Volleyball (USAV). Yankee's purpose is to promote volleyball in New England (Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut) for individuals and teams and to foster growth of volleyball through competition, training, and education. Tournament formats include men’s, women’s, coed reverse, and reverse coed.  We offer tournaments at all levels of play from beginner to advanced.  Players are given individual ratings which are used to limit team strength at each tournament level and keep competitions fair.

The Yankee season is broken up into two schedules. The Fall Schedule has tournament dates starting in late September and goes through early January.  The Spring Schedule has dates from late January through late May after which many of our teams will compete in USAV Open Nationals. The month of May is highlighted with our Championship and regional tournaments in the different levels.
